Now that you have your finished the *.d2v and *.wav files start up TMPEG.
With the latest version you get 30 days Mpeg 2 encoding and a brilliant wizard to help you with formats. ![]() Select DVD> PAL Leave the bit rate at the default and click the next button. ![]() Click the button at the end of video and browse to the d2v file. It then automatically configures for the video. Select the *.wav file for the audio file by clicking the browse button at the end of the Audio file row and selecting the file. Then click next twice till you reach stage 4 of 5. ![]() Hopefully you will see something like this with the file fitting on to your chosen media ie being under 100%. You can play around with the bit rate till it has a file that is 3.99GB (Windows limit). A pop-up will inform you when you go over just reduce till the pop-up dissapears. I will need to reduce the bit rate to 3950 to stay within the limit. ![]() If you want a higher bit rate you will need to divide the movie onto two dvd-r's using the source function. See VCD Edit .Once you are happy click next: ![]() Make sure start encoding immediately is selected and click OK. ![]() Hopefully then this appears notice the time it takes under remaining time this is for the current file. This is why this stage is best done while you sleep as it takes around 5 hours on a 1.4ghz it takes longer on slower systems and a little less on the faster ones.
