The recorder displays frequently used functions in a menu style to allow for quick and easy operations. Its hard disk is large enough to record up to 284 hours of video at 1Mbps.
The world's thinnest hard disk/DVD recorder measures 430x58x336mm, weighs 4.7kg, and is open-priced.
About 70% of the personal DVD recorders sold in Japan are hard disk-equipped models.
